Un air de Sagan
Pour cette soirée conçue par Isabelle Toutain, ICONOFLY a été invité à créer un parfum sur mesure en hommage à Françoise Sagan, composé par Alexandra Mettetal avec le précieux concours de Technicoflor.
Alexandra a trouvé dans les mots de Sagan un reflet intime de sa propre sensibilité : la solitude comme refuge, la beauté nichée dans l’éphémère, la musique résonnant comme un écho des désirs perdus, et le vertige onirique de la lune sur une mer agitée. Le parfum qu’elle a imaginé sera une interprétation olfactive de ces fragments : un tourbillon poétique de mémoire, de mélancolie et d’abandon lumineux.
Après des études en arts appliqués et en chimie, Alexandra a choisi le parfum comme moyen d’expression, unissant science et créativité pour s’exprimer à travers le langage invisible des odeurs. Formée auprès de Nathalie Feisthauer, Bertrand Duchaufour, Vincent Ricord et Romain Keller, elle crée aujourd’hui chez Technicoflor. Ses compositions sont nourries par ses pratiques artistiques parallèles — la photographie, la céramique — et, plus récemment, par sa collaboration avec l’univers de la mixologie, un terrain fertile d’associations inattendues et de textures contrastées qui alimentent son exploration sensorielle et émotionnelle.

Alexandra found in Sagan’s words a mirror of her own sensibility—solitude embraced, beauty found in fleeting moments, music echoing lost desires, and the dreamy vertigo of moonlight on a restless sea. The fragrance she has composed will be an olfactory interpretation of these fragments: a poetic swirl of memory, melancholy, and luminous abandon.
After studying applied arts and chemistry, Alexandra chose fragrance as her medium—uniting science and creativity to express herself through the invisible language of scent. Trained by Nathalie Feisthauer, Bertrand Duchaufour, Vincent Ricord, and Romain Keller, she now creates at Technicoflor. Her compositions are shaped by her parallel artistic practices—photography, ceramics, and most recently, her collaboration with the world of mixology, where unexpected pairings and textures feed her exploration of contrast and emotion.
